I will probably do more today, but as of now I am on page 105/310. I seem to have hit a particularly strong portion of the narrative and it’s been mostly reading and rewording things rather than scrapping and rewriting scenes entirely.
I am definitely approaching a few weak points that I will likely have to wrestle with for a minute, but so far I have been happy with how my rewrites have turned out.
A little snippet from this week’s work:
“Let’s try again.”
Zuriel and Halvar both looked at her with surprise.
Feeling her face warm again she added. “I’ve spent some ten minutes watching you fall off your third step, you made it to eight that time.”
“You fell.”
“You caught me.”
